TFS Pioneers City-Wide Fertigation in Utah

The first city-wide test of the TFS Fertile Water fertigation system was in St. George, Utah, a desert community of about 70,000 near Zion National Park, 120 miles northeast of Las Vegas, Nevada. It is one of the fastest-growing areas in the US and the combination of climate and population growth was putting a great deal of stress on its city parks and recreation areas.
Turf Feeding Systems installed its systems as a "beta test" for the Fertile Water turf management concept. Parks Supervisor Larry Fredrickson says, "TFS injectors are the only way to manage a city park. We have injectors in seven parks today and plan to add more next year."
